Marshall - Mrs. James CROWDER, 47, died at her home here, Saturday morning at 3:30 o'clock after a lingering illness with heart trouble. Mrs. Crowder was born near Marshall on Sept 27, 1891, the daughter of Zachary and Martha Delp and in 1912 was married to James Crowder. They had been residents of Marshall for the past 20 years. She is survived by her husband, one son, Leo Crowder of Marshall, 3 daughters, Mrs. Monroe Knott of Marshall, Miss Susie Crowder of Indianapolis and Miss Freida Crowder at home; a half brother, Zora Delp of Crawfordsville and a half sister, Mrs. Edna Sanders of near Marshall. The funeral will be held from the family residence at 11 o'clock Monday morning.

Marshall - Funeral services were held here Monday morning for Mrs. James Crowder, age 47 who died Saturday from an extended illness of heart trouble. The services were held at the Crowder home with Rev TL Terry of Roachdale, a former pastor of the Nazarene church of Marshall in charge. Mrs. Jasper Catterson and daughter of near Bloomingdale sang. Nephews of the deceased were pallbearers and nieces carried flowers. Burial was made at the Poplar Grove cemetery here.
